Works great with Fender’s New CuNiFe Jazzmaster Pickups

Fender recommends either 500k or 1meg pots for their new CuNiFe jazzmaster pickups, and to me, the 1meg are the way to go. These worked great for that. I tried doing a mix of audio taper for the volume and linear for the tone, don’t waste your time, the taper in this setup is absolute garbage. I basically had to wait a week for a second audio taper pot to arrive. There’s a reason Fender used two audio taper pots for volume and tone. That being said, Fender recommends a 0.1uf tone cap, which makes the range nearly unusable. Why they recommended this is beyond me. A 0.022 tone cap worked best with these 1meg pots. Throw a treble bleed with a 0.067 ceramic cap in parallel with 220k resistor and a 100k resistor in series and you have magic. I also tried 0.022 for the rhythm tone cap, but found 0.047 to be more my liking, with a .067 treble bleed in series with a 220k resistor really helped the rhythm circuit. Hopefully this review saves someone a lot of time and effort if they choose CuNiFe pickups. I love them, and these tone pots really go well with them
