Appropriate for most Gibsons, and many other guitars.

This particular pot is designed for rear-rout applications, where the pot bushing needs to be long enough to pass through the guitar's top while still allowing enough threaded length to use the appropriate nuts and washers, (which are included). Most rear-routed guitars are designed with a 1/4" or 6mm top thickness, and the longer 1/2" threaded bushing on these pots makes them perfect for these rear-rout applications.
