CTS 500k Audio Pot, Split Shaft, 1/2" Thread Length, for Gibson, 12-Pack

This is a 12-pack of our CT-450S3507 pots, packed in a protective box.

Appropriate for most rear-routed guitars, including many Gibsons. If you have a carved-top Les Paul, consider our CT-450S4517-12 pot pack instead.

The best guitar pots we're aware of are made by CTS - this is the brand that pretty much every American guitar company has used for decades. We order most of our pots directly from CTS and have them made to our specs.

• 500k audio taper (logarithmic)
• 10% resistance tolerance (the tightest CTS offers)
• Split shaft, 24 teeth (for push-on knobs)
• 3/8-32 SAE bushing thread
• 1/2" thread length (rear-routed guitars)
• Low torque (dimpled back - turns easily)
• 15/16" body diameter

Details

This particular pot is designed for rear-rout applications, where the pot bushing needs to be long enough to pass through the guitar's top while still allowing enough threaded length to use the appropriate nuts and washers, (which are included). Most rear-routed guitars are designed with a 1/4" or 6mm top thickness, and the longer 1/2" threaded bushing on these pots makes them perfect for these rear-rout applications.
