The ground wires make this version truly solder-free. If your control cavity isn't shielded, there's nothing to ground the pot to, and these wires give you that ground without soldering. Most wiring layouts also need a ground connected to one or more slots on the terminal block, and the wires take care of that too.
The pot is designed for 24-tooth push-on plastic knobs. We also include a brass sleeve that may be slipped over the pot shaft if desired, turning the split shaft into a quasi 1/4" solid shaft. You would use this if you intend to use setscrew knobs (which will need to be drilled 1/4", not 6mm).
Includes
- Pot, with ground wires added
- 6" black and white wires, for jumpers where several connections share one slot
- Small screwdriver for the terminal screws
- Mounting hardware for top-rout and rear-rout installs
- Brass sleeve (see details)
