Thumbwheel Set, ABR-1, Nickel-Plated Steel, Coarse Knurl

A pair of thumbwheels for ABR-1 bridges, in nickel-plated steel with a coarse knurl. Thicker than our vintage wheels. They raise and lower the bridge, and fit original Gibson guitars and clones with 6-32 threaded posts. Made in the USA.

Details

How they work. The thumbwheels thread onto the two bridge posts and the bridge rests on them. Turn them up or down to raise or lower the bridge.

Thin or thicker. We sell a thin (vintage) wheel, .084" thick, and thicker wheels at .102" (steel, coarse knurl) and .112" (brass, fine knurl). A coarse knurl gives a bit more grip under your fingers; a fine knurl looks smoother.
