These pots are perfect for Telecasters, if 500k pots are desired.

The best guitar pots we're aware of are made by CTS - this is the brand that pretty much every American guitar company has used since the 1940s. We order most of our pots directly from CTS and have them made to our specs.

Be advised: These pots have 1/4" diameter shafts (6.35mm), and they are designed for knobs that are held on with a setscrew. Most imported guitars that have setscrew knobs come with metric pots with 6mm shafts - and accordingly, they come with knobs with 6mm holes - and these knobs will not fit on our pots unless the hole in the knob is enlarged to 1/4".

While this might seem like no big deal, in practice it's not something the average consumer will find trivial. A drill bit that grabs a metal knob and spins it in the hand risks cutting the hand, and especially if it has a setscrew sticking out on one side. Unless you have a drill press and a way to hold the knob from spinning without marring it, you might find it advisable to buy new knobs. All of the Fender and Callaham setscrew knobs we sell will work, they all have 1/4" bores and are designed for CTS pots with solid shafts.

Very Big!

Pretty cool but good luck finding knobs that fit easily. The lack of grooves make it quite difficult to set anything on it. Although, it is very pretty and feels nice.

Hi Tommy, sorry for any disappointment! The standard shaft diameter for American pots - at least the ones used in guitars - has been 1/4'' for many years, whereas imported pots usually are 6mm (1/4'' is 6.35mm, so just slightly larger). Fender knobs, including Tele/P-Bass knobs, amp knobs, Jag/Mustang knobs - pretty much any metal or plastic knobs held on with a setscrew - are sized for these 1/4'' shafts. So nearly all of the knobs on our site that use setscrews will fit these CTS solid-shaft pots.

Anyway, thanks for your order, and sorry again for the disappointment!
